A prayer for the courts of justice in our land

Let us pray for the Courts of Justice in our Land.

Almighty God, who sittest in the throne judging right; We humbly beseech thee to bless the courts of justice and the magistrates in all this land; and give unto them the spirit of wisdom and understanding, that they may discern the truth and impartially administer the law in fear of thee alone. We again lift up the legal defense team of the Diocese of Quincy and pray that thy Holy Spirit will inspire them, guide them, and support them in their work. We pray for the judges of the appellate court, and for our legal team, especially Tad Brenner, Kent Schnack, Alex Hayley, Alan Runyon, John Robertson, Rich Baker, and Mark McCall, beseeching thy mercy that thou wouldest defend them against the powers of evil, and guide them in the doing of thy will, to the glory of thy Name. All this we ask through him who shall come to be our Judge, thy Son, our Savior, Jesus Christ, who livest and reignest with thee, in the unity of the Holy Ghost, ever, one God, world without end.

Amen.
